Well my life has been pretty crazy lately, but in a good way. We’ve moved back into town and are enjoying it. I’m still working over 60 hours per week between two jobs and struggling to find a little extra time for anything at all!
The big news in my life of course is the limited edition of Alraune put out by Side Real Press this spring. I’ve already sold out my copies and given some away to my children. This has truely been a dream come true and I certainly need to reevaluate my own self-identity.
Concurent with the publication of Alraune has been the interest of the Ewers estate! I am happy to say that another dream come true is that we have both agreed to a contract that will allow me to continue translating and publishing the complete works of Hanns Heinz Ewers.
I’ve got the options for ebooks, audio books and even pod casts, so the sky is the limit if I can take advantage of it.
On the flip side I’ve agreed that I will only publish samples of stories online, not complete stories. This means I have to modify several of my blogs and online sites. I’m asking for permission to sell individual stories as ebooks on scribd but have not heard back yet.
If you are wondering why my website is changing and why I am removing material this is the reason. I will be closing out some blogs and removing complete stories, replacing them with partial sample stories or stories for sale.
If I can not sell stories individually I will at least have samples of them all on the scribd site.
I’ve also made kindle editions of Alraune and HHE Volume I and will be looking into Barnes & Noble ebook editions. Till later,
