Important update information about Hanns Heinz Ewers!

I have tried to get Hanns Heinz Ewers study groups and discussion groups going at various places on the web with little success. The truth seems to be that there is so little known about this author that discussion seems impossible.
At the same time I have been trying to share newly translated material so others may have enough exposure to the writings of Hanns Heinz Ewers to know if they are interested or not. I am happy to say that there does seem to be a growing interest in this author and his works. Used copies of his original works are rapidly being bought up on the internet at high prices. There is not much selection left.
I have been fortunate enough to acquire almost all of the writings of this author along with a couple hard to find out of print biographies. I do intend to translate the entire collected works of Hanns Heinz Ewers and write a biography as well. That is a matter of several years and I can only do so much at a time.
A Collector’s Edition of the Essay Edgar Allan Poe is now available in hardcover.
Hardcover Print: $20.30
Classic essay by Hanns Heinz Ewers about his favorite author, Edgar Allan Poe. This edition has been newly translated by Joe E Bandel and includes the original illustrations, dedication and footnotes. Adele Lewisohn’s introduction to her own translation is included as well to make the current edition more complete. As a bonus it includes the newly translated poem “Sphinx” by Hanns Heinz Ewers.
Hanns Heinz Ewers Volume I is now available in both case wrapped hardcover for $24.99 and as a quality paperback for $16.49.
I can only offer books at this low price by eliminating the middleman entirely. You must buy these books either from me at my book store or through Lulu.com. Here is the link to my book store:

I hope to have the definitive translation of Alraune finished by December of this year. In fact, John Smith of Side Real Press needs it by then if he wants to put out his limited edition with the original Blaine artwork in time for the World Horror Convention next spring.
I also hope to have Moganni Nameh, collected poems, finished by next spring and available as well as a complete translation of A Book of Fables with the original illustrations that was put out by Etzer and Ewers. Obviously I have my work cut out for me. Moganni Nameh and A Book of Fables will be hard cover collectable editions. I’m not sure if I want them as paperback.
In the meantime I am focussing everything else into four areas that people need to know about. The most important remains my main webpage Anarchist World.
Then there are the related blogs that are associated with it. There are now more than ever and I will continue adding blogs as I begin work on new projects. You can expect a good sampling of newly translated material from a rich assortment of materials. I like to offer samples of my work before I sell them. I’ve offered the first five chapters of Alraune for free as sampler material as an example. Now people will have to wait for the book.
In the meantime I am still posting newly translated poems and fables online. There will always be new stuff for free but not complete editions. Hanns Heinz Ewers Volume I will be the only volume of short horror stories to be published online for free. I’ve already placed enough material out there as a sampler of his short horror stories.
But much still remains, novels, Deutsche Kriegsleider, biographies, travel books, fairy tales, dramatic plays, operas and much more. These will not be included in the five volumes of Short stories since they belong by themselves.
Next is my library page at librarything.com. For those that are interested I’ve been working on my Librarything library! Where the books are listed I’ve put the stories that are in them. That way if anyone is looking for a particular Hanns Heinz Ewers story they will know which book it can be found in. I have not collected all of his books because some are duplicates of existing stories. I have collected all of his stories and they will show up on this webpage!

Lastly is the Hanns Heinz Ewer’s Group at scribd.com. Of all the places I’ve tried, this seems to be the best location for a Hanns Heinz Ewers Discussion Group if their ever is one. I am posting documents there as well as in my blogs. Already I have a constant average of forty readers per day, although many of them are most interested in my other books, Modern Survivalism and Magister Templi.
